Collaborators

We work with laboratories, hospitals, universities and non-profits that have a health question and the domain expertise to frame it. We usually supply the computational half.

Collaborators

Researchers we work with

Domain expertise we do not have in-house, on joint studies and co-supervised student projects.

What we bring

Computational capacity and method, delivered as a genuine research contribution rather than a service. In practice that means one of the following.

  • Multi-omics and transcriptomic analysis for groups with sequencing data and no bioinformatics support.
  • Epidemiological and survey analysis, including systematic review and meta-analysis, to a reporting standard suitable for publication.
  • Predictive modelling on clinical or imaging data, with external validation and interpretability built in.
  • Spatial analysis — disease mapping, accessibility modelling, remote-sensing covariates.
  • Grant support, contributing the analysis plan and computational methodology to a joint proposal.

What we ask

Authorship for the students who do the work, and permission to publish the analysis code once the paper is out. Where data cannot be shared, the code still can.

Starting a collaboration

Write to us with the question, the data you hold, and the timeline. If it is a fit we will propose a small first piece of work rather than a full agreement — it is a better test for both sides.

Typical first step
A scoped pilot analysis, two to three months.
We can host
Joint student projects, co-supervised theses, and shared training workshops.
We cannot
Take paid contract work — the centre is volunteer-run and non-profit.
